Together We Rule’s goal is to bring Humankind new ways to win beyond military domination. The game’s unified win condition, Fame, was a first step in that direction, but now the development team wants to expand player options with Together We Rule features. “[…] the Congress of Humanity, the Embassies and the Agents, will help players to see the world in a new light and thus be able to solve conflicts differently”, explains Amplitude Studios.
The Congress of Humanity will allow participation in a forum between empires to vote and decide on global doctrines and arbitrate in international conflicts, while the embassies will be a tool to sign agreements that are beneficial to both empires, such as training or research agreements sets. Currency influence can also be used to force an empire to take specific actions for its own benefit, such as reducing support for the war or imposing demands.
The Together We Rule expansion also introduces the Agents, a new family of units that allow you to gather influence or complete infiltration, sabotage or disinformation operations in other empires. Finally, we have the new Diplomat affinity, which allows cultures to take a more active role in world diplomacy, and six new cultures: Sumerians, Han Chinese, Bulgarians, Swiss, Scots, and Singaporeans, each with their respective wonder, narrative events and music.
Additionally, Amplitude Studios has announced the release of a free update that will add new stealth mechanics, revamp independent towns, enable third-party battle boosters, and add new options and UI improvements.
