The National Guarantee Fund backed $10 billion in loans

The National Guarantee Fund said that closed August with $10.1 billion of guaranteed creditsbenefiting more than 197,000 entrepreneurs in the country.

Bogotá, Antioquia and Valle del Cauca they represent 33%, 16% and 9% respectively of the mobilization of guarantees.

The wholesale, retail and other trade sectors represent 42% of the participation in the mobilizations, followed by manufacturing industries with 18%, construction with 13% and transport and storage with 5%. The remaining 22% is distributed in other sectors of the economy.

Entrepreneurs have mostly agreed to the line of multipurpose guarantees with 51%preferred SME with 33%, business microcredit with 6% and 10% in the other fund products.

In Bogotá, the backed loans totaled $2.3 billion, with more than 24,000 beneficiaries.

In Antioquia credits for $1.6 billion were backed and the beneficiaries totaled 17,700.

Valle del Cauca benefited from credits for $994,000 million and 18,003 beneficiaries.

In Atlántico, credits for $645,000 million were supported and the beneficiaries were 7,745.

In Santander the credits supported totaled $458,000 million and the beneficiaries were 11,059.

For its part, in Cundinamarca, the backed loans reached $400,000 million and the beneficiaries were 12,872.
