Earlier today, we informed you that major spoilers for the plot of God of War Ragnarok. Naturally, this type of content is welcomed by some who are eagerly awaiting the game and impatiently wanting to hear about the project at any cost, but disliked by the majority who are waiting to discover the details as they play. Well, shortly after the leaks, the project’s producer broke his silence to complain about people sharing spoilers.
This weekend has given much to talk about God of War Ragnarok. Although SIE Santa Monica Studio has shared more details of the combat and general gameplay of the title, details of the plot are being reserved for the player to discover when playing it.
Find out: a new LEVEL UP t-shirt is now available, run for yours.
However, leaked material reveals details of a character who will apparently play a very important role in the game, as well as the plot of Kratos’ new adventure in Norse mythology. And yes, it is material that Dusk Golem let us take a look at weeks ago (without the details of the plot), which proves once again that his sources are reliable.
Of course, since this is plot-related content, we won’t share spoilers here. It is unnecessary to warn the reader that it could well be a surprise in the game, so some may prefer to discover it when they are playing it. However, anyone familiar with a bit of this mythology could suspect what it is.

Cory Barlog disliked the leak of God of War Ragnarok and spoilers in general
Either way, the leaked footage, believed to come from the game’s official artbook, provides information that SIE Santa Monica would not have liked to see leaked in this way.
Or at least that’s what Cory Barlog, producer of the project, has made clear. We say this because shortly after the new spoilers spread, the creative took advantage of his Twitter account to express that he will simply never understand “the reasons why people leak things before they are released”.
It is natural for anyone in charge of a project of this magnitude to feel disappointed by spoilers of this type, as they reserve this content to be a surprise for the player. Something similar (but slightly more serious) happened when Naughty Dog was leaked crucial details of the plot of The Last of Us: Part II (one of the strongest in history). There are studies that take action on the matter, as is the case with The Pokémon Company, which punished the leaks of Pokémon Sword & Shield before its release made from a strategy guide.
In case you missed it: God of War Ragnarok will have more variety of enemies and shields.
I just…will never understand the reasons why people post leaks of stuff before it releases.
