Samsung announces Galaxy XCover6 Pro, a 'smartphone' focused on companies with a 6 nanometer processor

Samsung Electronics has announced this Thursday the new Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro, a ‘smartphone’ focused on companies and designed to favor the mobility of professionals with improved performance thanks to a powerful 6 nanometer (nm) processor.

This device “combines durability and seamless connectivity to make it easier for companies of any size to achieve their business objectives”, as explained in a statement by the director of Companies at Samsung Electronics Iberia, Carlos Gándara,

Galaxy XCover6 Pro is equipped with a displayto Full HD + (FHD +) 6.6 inches, glazed Corning Corilla Glass Victus and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has a weight of 235 grams and a thickness of 9.9 mm.

Its robust design is focused on use in extreme climates and withstands falls and other hazards resulting from outdoor work. In addition, it can be used with gloves, since it integrates a system to adjust the tactile sensitivity and increase the receptivity of the screen also in humid environments.

It mounts a six-nanometer processor, capable of providing higher speeds that shorten working time and uses a replaceable 4,050mAh battery. In addition, it features a configuration of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and supports a microSD card of up to 1TB.

From Samsung they have announced that this phone is the first device in the XCover series compatible with the 5G network, which allows you to work from anywhere there is a signal. It is also compatible with the 6GHz band in WiFi 6E.


At the user level, one of its most outstanding features is Samsung DeXwhich allows users to connect their device to an external display, keyboard, and mouse to access an experience similar to that of a laptop or PC.

It also includes two programmable keys that can be customized to perform specific functions depending on the type of work the device is intended for, which can also be used as a barcode scanner via Knox Capture or as a ‘walkie talkie’ through via the ‘push to talk’ option.

The mobile phone runs on Android 12 and promises security updates for up to five years and cfour additional updates to your customization layer, One UI, and the operating system.

Samsung has indicated that Galaxy XCover6 Pro will be available from July, for 599 euros, and for 609 euros in the Enterprise Edition version, in certain markets in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
