Although the AMD event has been focused on the Ryzen 7000 processors and their Zen 4 architecture, of which we will tell you all the details and specifications in this article, the CEO of AMD, Lisa Su, has taken advantage of the presentation to reveal some brushstrokes of your next graphical architecture AMD RDNA 3 that will come with the next AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series.
Undoubtedly, the most striking thing has been the announcement that RDNA 3 architecture will offer 50% more performance per watt than the current RDNA 2 architecture. These graphics will offer a design based on chiplets, directly inherited from the company’s CPUs, and will be manufactured at 5 nanometers.
Not only that, but we have been able to see the first public demo of an AMD Radeon RX graphics card with RDNA 3 architecture in operation. How could it be otherwise, it was accompanied by what will be the most powerful AMD processor for this generation, the AMD RYZEN 9 7950X.
The graphics card model has not been revealed, but we can see a triple fan design in a reference model equipped with RGB lighting as is already the case in the most powerful models of the current generation, so it possibly belongs to this range. (possible RX 7900 XT or similar.
We will have to wait until the end of the year, the date on which the arrival of the first graphics cards with RDNA 3 is expected, although, for the moment, AMD has not revealed any official date.
