So far we have mostly talked about the highest range of plates for upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Processors, X670 and X670E Chipset. But now, thanks to the filtration of some slides, what we already assumed can be confirmed, this range will have another mid-range chipset B650 which will also have its Extreme version. So for now we have 4 options for the boards of the next AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors that will release the new Socket AM5.




AMD socket AM5 boards now have 4 chipset options with different features. The well-known X670 also has an Extreme version called X670E, now the B650 we also know that it will have this more powerful version. The difference between the X670 or B650 with its extreme version is that these first ones will count with only one PCIe 5.0 slot for graphics cards or an M.2 connector for PCIe 5.0 SSD. In addition, the B650 series will feature fewer lanes available than the X670.
