Last Monday, Alberto Núñez Feijóo assured in an interview on Onda Cero that “there is no negotiation with those who have pending cases with the Justice Department.” A phrase addressed to the Government and its parliamentary alliance with Junts. Barely 24 hours later, the same leader of the PP said this Tuesday that he was open to “talking” with whoever wants to support him in a motion of technical censure to evict Pedro Sánchez from Moncloa with the commitment to call general elections. A turn from one day to the next similar to that already exercised by the President of the Government and that exemplifies the pendulum discourse of the PP on Junts based on its own interests and its ideological coincidences.
The PP has based a good part of its opposition to the Government led by Pedro Sánchez on its parliamentary dependence on Junts and EH Bildu. They have no doubts about the latter at the national headquarters on Madrid’s Génova Street. It is the only group in Congress with which the PP tries to limit its dialogue as much as possible.
