Beyoncé postpones January 14 announcement due to Los Angeles fires

“The January 14 announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires in areas of Los Angeles. “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for families suffering from trauma and loss,” Beyoncé wrote. “We are very fortunate to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”

The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer added in the caption that her BeyGood Foundation has established a Los Angeles Fire Relief Fund and donated $2.5 million to “directly support families who lost their homes and community organizations that are on the front lines of relief.”

“Please join us in supporting us with whatever you can,” he added.

Shortly before her decision to postpone the announcement, Beyoncé shared news about donating to Los Angeles relief funds via the foundation Instagram page.

“Los Angeles, we are with you. …The fund is intended to assist families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires,”
says the BeyGood title.

Fans have been anxiously waiting (and speculating) about what Beyoncé’s biggest announcement could be since she teased the date in a cryptic message. Instagram video on Christmas Day after delivering a sizzling performance at halftime during Netflix’s “NFL Christmas Gameday.”

In the clip, she appeared in an all-white outfit while sitting atop a white horse and waving a giant American flag while the date “1.14.25” appeared on the screen.

“Look at that horse,” the songwriter simply captioned her post.

Although fans will now have to wait before hearing the announcement, many people on X, formerly Twitter, have speculated that Beyoncé announce a tour in support of his eighth studio album, “Cowboy Carter.”
