He then alluded to his dismissal from the series, adding, “It was also like, ‘Get him out of here.’”
The drama began when Blake filed a complaint with the California Department of Civil Rights, alleging that Justin had improvised unwanted kissing scenes and created a hostile work environment through sexual harassment, among other allegations.
One day later, the New York Times published an article reporting that Justin hired a crisis PR team to “bury” his co-star with an alleged “smear campaign.”
Blake then sued Justin and his company Wayfarer Studios that same day.
It didn’t end there, as Justin responded by filing a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The New York Times for his report that he said pushed a “self-serving and unverified narrative.”
Now, attorney Bryan Freedman, who represents Justin, says he has “receipts” showing the A Simple Favor star’s alleged “threats” to seize the film in a new statement issued to People on Tuesday, January 7.
