Qualcomm has arrived at CES 2025 with new features, with its Snapdragon X Series platform for laptops being the most striking with the processor X1-26-100or as it will be commonly known, Snapdragon.
After Snapdragon X Elite and two versions of Snapdragon
Despite being at the bottom of the features table, Qualcomm has focused – of course – on providing artificial intelligence to all the computers that use it through the Copilot+ tools in Windows 11.
It has 8 Oryon cores capable of operating up to 3 GHz and unlike other of its brothers it does not have the possibility of adding an extra peak of performance. In addition, it has an Adreno GPU capable of generating up to 1.7 TFLOPS. The NPU, the chip focused on artificial intelligence, reaches 45 TOPS.
According to Qualcomm, it keeps the promises of its other laptop processors, such as long battery life, it does not heat up and the equipment is silent as it does not require constant ventilation. In addition, they turn on instantly and when in sleep mode their energy consumption is minimal.

The differences are not very big in what is important, in AI and in day-to-day efficiency, but where it will be noticed is when the computer needs more performance in demanding tasks.
