The other day we knew what the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X will look like and now we can start to get an idea of its performance after leaking the results that the processor achieves in the benchmark Cinebench R20.
Via a screenshot from Extreme Player on Bili Biliwe can see that the supposed AMD Ryzen 7 7700X achieves 773 points in the single-threaded test and from 7,701 points in the multicore test where the 8 cores and 16 threads that this architecture-based processor will presumably have are used Zen 4. Its speed is expected to reach 4.5 GHz base and 5.4 GHz Boost.
If we compare it with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Currently, we have an improvement of around 25%, putting it on par with higher-end processors with more cores like the Ryzen 9 5900X in the all-thread test.
This information must be taken with caution, since the only information available is a photo of the test results with the supposed Ryzen 7 7700X (possibly an engineering model). We will have to wait for its official launch to be able to check if the data is true.
