Xiaomi has presented in India the new ‘smartphone’ of its Redmi series, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 SE, a device that will not include the standard charger in the product box for the first time in the history of the brand.

This new terminal from the Chinese manufacturer has a screen AMOLED DotDisplay 6.43-inch FullHD +, with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,800 pixels and a DCI-P3 color gamut, as anticipated by the brand in his web page.

Weighing 178.8 grams and measuring 8.29mm thick, the device’s display uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is capable of 1,100 nits of brightness.

In addition, it mounts a processor MediaTek Helio G95as well as a 5,000mAh battery, with 33W charging support and works with the MIUI 12 customization layer, based on Android 11.

In the image section, the new Xiaomi mobile has a 64 megapixel (MP) main camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera, meanwhile, is 13MP.

Likewise, Redmi Note 11 SE has a side fingerprint reader and stereo sound and supports WiFi 5, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity, among other specifications.

also features the USB Type-C connector, a cable that is included in the box of the product that is going to be put up for sale, unlike its charger, which will be sold separately. In this way, it will be the first Xiaomi device that does not include it along with the phone.

The company has announced that this terminal will go on sale through its website in the Indian market for a price of 12,499 rupees (around 157 euros) on August 31.

At the moment, Xiaomi has not advanced whether this terminal will reach other markets, such as Europe, nor on what date it would be available.

It should be remembered that, with the absence of the charger in its box, the Asian manufacturer joins other manufacturers that have recently stopped including this accessory with their products. Among them, Samsung with the S22 Ultra model, which also removed it from its Galaxy Tab S7 FE tablet.

This trend, started a few years ago by Apple, was joined months later by realme, which announced in April that it would sell the terminal focused on ‘gaming’ Narzo 50A Prime without a charger.
