PV GAS launches a marathon: “PV GAS, journey for green energy”

On December 22, 2024, Petrovietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) organized the “PV GAS – Green energy journey” marathon, which marked the beginning of a series of lively sports activities in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The marathon was part of the celebration of PV GAS’s achievements in 2024.

2024 has been a record year for PV GAS, once again affirming its pioneering role in Vietnam’s gas industry. The Corporation successfully completed a liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply chain throughout Vietnam through waterways, gas pipelines, railways and highways. In view of this, PV GAS has met the growing demand for clean energy and contributed significantly to ensuring national energy security. The Corporation is also expected to exceed its 2024 targets.

Participants had the opportunity to meet like-minded people, share their passions, and collectively spread a spirit of unity and action for a better future starting today.

PV GAS proactively implements the orientation towards green development

In Hanoi, the marathon took place at Trinh Cong Son Park on West Lake on December 22, 2024. Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, the event is scheduled for January 5, 2025, at Canh Doi Park in Phu My Hung Urban Area, District 7. In both cities, the marathon features three popular distances designed for running fans:

– 5 km: The green exit
– 10km: Breaking Limits
– 15km/21km/42: Conquering the future

The event highlights PV GAS’ determination to support this widely favorite and accessible sport. Beyond individual achievements, participating in the marathon is a proactive way to inspire healthy habits among family and friends, while sharing the joy of running in the beautiful green spaces of both cities.
