Adobe has announced the availability in Spain of its Assistant powered by generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) capable of generating summaries, answering user questions and giving different formats to document information in Acrobat.

The company presented the beta version of AI last February, when it commented that it had been designed to lighten the work in Acrobat and made it available to customers subscribed to its Individual, Pro and Teams plans.

Although it is a functionality integrated into the subscription plans it offers, it can be purchased additionally, for 6.09 euros per month, for users of the free version of Adobe Reader.

With this announcement, Adobe wanted to underline its “continued commitment” to responsible AI and recalled that all functions of this tool are subject to the company’s responsible AI ethical governance process and that it is governed by an approach of privacy. This means that Adobe does not use customer data for training large language models (LLM).

Acrobat’s AI Assistant also keeps companies in control of their information, providing insights based only on the documents that users specifically tell it to analyze.

Likewise, it includes attributions in the generated responses, which makes it easier for users to confirm the origin of the information; and its results are only based on documents provided by the users themselves.
