The AI ​​Assistant for Adobe Acrobat is now available in Spanish

Adobe has announced the availability in Spain of its Assistant powered by generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) capable of generating summaries, answering user questions and giving different formats to document information in Acrobat.

The company presented the beta version of AI last February, when it commented that it had been designed to lighten the work in Acrobat and made it available to customers subscribed to its Individual, Pro and Teams plans.

The Acrobat Assistant, which comes in a conversational chat In documents opened with this program, it answers questions based on the content that makes up the documents and can generate intelligent quotes.

Likewise, it has the ability to perform summaries in formats “easy to read”, It can suggest some questions that it considers relevant based on the content of a document and automatically create links to take the user directly to find specific parts of the document.

The Assistant can also work across documents, from quick answers to in-depth investigations, identifying key themes, trends and relationships from a group of selected documents; synthesizes and formats information coming from different sources to turn it into “shocking” content, according to a press release.

On the other hand, it can generate summaries of meeting content with meeting transcripts and increases efficiency when carrying out the meeting. follow up on a meeting or when the user has not been able to attend it.

After going through a testing phase and reaching more users a few days ago, the company has announced the availability of Acrobat AI Assistant in Spanishwhich can be used giving directions in Spanish from your computer, web, or mobile devices.

Although it is a functionality integrated into the subscription plans it offers, it can be purchased additionally, for 6.09 euros per month, for users of the free version of Adobe Reader.

With this announcement, Adobe wanted to underline its “continued commitment” to responsible AI and recalled that all functions of this tool are subject to the company’s responsible AI ethical governance process and that it is governed by an approach of privacy. This means that Adobe does not use customer data for training large language models (LLM).

Acrobat’s AI Assistant also keeps companies in control of their information, providing insights based only on the documents that users specifically tell it to analyze.

Likewise, it includes attributions in the generated responses, which makes it easier for users to confirm the origin of the information; and its results are only based on documents provided by the users themselves.
