Water on Mars

After studying data from NASA’s Insight lander, a team of researchers managed to discover that there is enough water on Mars to form oceans.

While the water is unlikely to be useful as a well in the near future, the find will help understand the water cycle on the red planet, At the same time, its surface and climate are better understood. The discovery could also point to another goal for the current search for evidence of life on Mars.

Increase in temperature

For the first time in history, global warming exceeded 1.5°C for an entire year. This was revealed by an investigation carried out by the climate service of the European Union, from which it was highlighted that this data is crucial, since exceeding this limit could imply much greater challenges to achieving the goals set out in the Paris Agreement.

“Look what happened this year with just 1.5°C: we’ve seen floods, we’ve seen droughts, we’ve seen heat waves and forest fires around the world, and we’re starting to see lower agricultural productivity and some problems with quality and quantity of waterexplained Bob Watson, former president of the United Nations climate agency, to the ‘BBC’.
