Dec. 18 (Portaltic/EP) –
Threads has announced that it will begin testing “soon” a new feature for schedule posts on the social network, so that users will be able to share content on the desired date and time automatically.
Instagram recently launched a tool that allows schedule sending of direct messages (DM) and, now, it plans to implement this same option for publications on the ‘microblogging’ social network.
In this context, the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, has announced a new post scheduling feature that will start testing “soon” in Threadswith which users will be able to organize their content and configure it to be published on a predetermined day and time.
This is what Mosseri has detailed in a post in Threadsin which he also stressed that it is a function in which they have been working “for months“.
Mosseri has clarified that the Replies to posts cannot be scheduledin order to encourage interactions in Threads to continue to be “real-time conversations.” However, with the programming function, they aim to offer users “more control to plan your posts” on the social network.
This is a useful feature for, for example, content creators or users who use the account professionally. With all this, the ‘microblogging’ platform continues to implement new features to improve user experience which is also experiencing extensive growth in the number of new accounts.
Thus, as the company announced this week, it already registers more than 100 million daily active users, a figure that amounts to more than 300 million active users per month.
