Merco (Corporate Reputation Business Monitor) evaluates the reputation of companies based on a study by the Analysis and Research Group audited by KPMG. “The 2024 survey process has included, in this fifteenth edition, 6 evaluations, 26 sources of information and 17,839 surveys,” said Jorge Pérez Esquivel, director of Merco Argentina.
The ranking is prepared in accordance with the ISO 20,252 Quality Standard for Market Research, and collects opinions from employees of all the audited companies, experts and headhunters, academia and others. In addition, financial, innovation, sustainability, human resources and other criteria are evaluated based on information provided by each company.

Toyota has maintained a prominent presence in the Merco Ranking, occupying third place consecutively for five years, from 2018 to 2022. This achievement not only demonstrates the consistency in excellence and reliability that consumers and experts associate with the brand, but also its ability to sustain high standards of business management and social responsibility.
In 2023, Toyota experienced a significant improvement, moving up to second place, a position it has managed to maintain this year as well. This promotion reflects strategic adjustments and successful adaptation to changing global market dynamics, thus cementing its reputation as a leader in the automotive industry.
