To introduce another option to the market of M.2 SSD drives with connectivity PCIe 4.0, Acer has presented the unit FA200. This Acer FA200 drive is available in capacities up to 4TBwith a standard format compatible with a multitude of devicesand that takes full advantage of the speeds offered by the PCIe 4.0 bus. It is built with storage NAND top quality and using DRAM-free technologyto make way for Host Memory Buffer or HMB. This allows faster starting speed and better transfers that reach up to 7,200 MB/s read and up to 6,200 MB/s writing in the 1, 2 and 4 TB models, although the latter with greater capacity reduces both speeds by 100 MB/s. Added to this is a SLC cache which allows us to maintain this performance even when we use the disk intensively.
