Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of the flops of the year, but Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady Studios have respected the initial post-launch content plan, which will come to an end with season 4 that begins today, December 10, according to announced editor and developer. The title will not close the servers, but before stopping receiving content, it will incorporate an offline mode and Deathstroke as a new playable character.

“Season 4 will end with Episode 8, scheduled for release in January 2025, and will be the final chapter of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” says Rocksteady Studios. “Even though Season 4, Episode 8 will mark the final battle against Brainiac, all online features will still be available, so you can still enjoy co-op with friends and all previous seasonal and episodic content.”

“You will also have the option to play through the new Offline Mode, which allows you to access the main campaign and all post-launch seasonal content without an Internet connection,” adds the development team. Offline mode can be accessed with a new profile to start from the beginning or create a copy of the existing online profile, allowing progress to be preserved. All cosmetics are also available in the m
offline mode.

Regarding Deathstroke, he is the eighth additional playable character after Joker, Mrs. Freeze and Lawless, who have joined the original quartet (Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and King Shark). Also known as Slade Wilson, Deathstroke is a mercenary and one of the deadliest assassins in the entire world. Their goal is the same as the rest of the Suicide Squad, ending Brainiac’s invasion once and for all. As usual, the new season also comes with new weapons, a battle pass and an Elseworld map.

It’s unknown what Rocksteady Studios is currently working on, but rumors speak of a return to roots with a single-player game.
