Steam reaches more than 39 million simultaneous users



The latest releases in games have led to PC store par excellence to a new record. Exceeding the numbers we have seen in previous years, more and more players are joining simultaneously through the Steam platform to play. Up to 39 million users both has registered the platform during these last days.

Specifically, 39,182,341 peak users were registered on December 8, a figure that is very close to 40 million which will surely end soon. Great recently released games have helped achieve this figure, such as Path of Exile 2 which has been positioned as sales successfollowed by the unbeatable Counter Strike 2, Marvel Rivals either Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Removing the usual most played on Steam which are Counter Strike 2, Dota 2 and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDSin fourth place is Path of Exile 2 who has achieved a resounding success and has managed to saturate the servers. It’s not far behind either. Marvel Rivalsa free 2 play game that has also managed to bring together 10 million players during its first 3 days since launch. Other games that have also helped achieve this figure are the expected STALKER 2: Heart of Chrnobyl, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 inter alia.
