MADRID Dec. 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least 30 people have died this Sunday in air attacks by the Israeli Army against different points in the Gaza Strip, including the Bureij refugee camp, located in the center of the Palestinian enclave, within the framework of the military offensive launched after the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions and which have already left more than 44,800 dead.
Sources consulted by the Palestinian news agency WAFA have indicated that 15 people, including children and women, have died in the attack on a house located in Bureij. In addition, a dozen people have been killed in a bombing near a municipal park in Gaza City.
Subsequently, five citizens have died in an Israeli bombing against a group of citizens north of Rafá, a town located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The offensive against Gaza was launched after the aforementioned attacks on October 7, 2023, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities. Added to these tolls are more than 800 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli security forces and in attacks perpetrated by settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
