Until now, if we installed an external Win32 application, it did not appear in the list of updateable programs in the Microsoft Store, but with the new functionality, They may be kept updated even if they are hosted and maintained by third parties.
This function, which may seem trivialwill allow users to ensure that their software is updated, either with automatic or manual updates, from the Microsoft Store without having to update or download new versions one by one.
At the moment, this feature is being tested in version 27758 of the Windows 11 Insider Preview program, so we still have to wait to see it in the final versions of the operating system.
