Samsung has taken advantage of the framework of the Gamescom 2022 fair to present the new Odyssey G70B and G65B monitors for video games, which incorporate the Samsung Smart Platform and Samsung Gaming Hub.
The Odyssey G70B and G65B monitors provide smart functionality, including the option to create a home office environment even without a PC, connection to multiple devices and IT services.
Users can connect wirelessly to a Windows PC or Macuse Samsung DeX, mirror the screen of a smartphone on the monitor using Apple AirPlay 2, as well as access Microsoft 365 cloud services, as detailed by the company it’s a statement.
The two monitors are among the first models in the Odyssey range to incorporate both the Samsung SmartPlatform What Samsung Gaming Hub. It also allows you to watch the latest programs in Netflix, Amazon Prime and others OTT service providers.
The G70B is available in 28 and 32 inches., With a refresh rate of 144Hz and a response time of 1ms, while the G65B comes in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes and is equipped with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GtG) response time.
They both offer a UHD resolutionuse a flat IPS screen which is enhanced by G-SYNC for G70B and curved QHD screen, 1000R for G65B model, and are compatible with NVIDIA and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
In addition, G70B and G65B are equipped with a high-sensitivity far-field voice microphone, to control the device with voice assistants like Bixby and Amazon Alexa. The Always On Voice feature allows users to interact with Bixby even when the monitor is turned off.
The company has reported that the Odyssey G70B and G65B monitors will be available globally from the fourth quarter of the year.
