MADRID Dec. 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least 20 people have been killed and several dozen more have been injured by Israeli attacks on an area of tents with displaced people in the town of Al Mawasi, in the south of the Gaza Strip, according to a preliminary report from local sources.
According to these sources, cited by the Palestinian news agency Maan, the Israeli Air Force launched up to three attacks on this area, where a massive fire broke out. Among the deceased are at least five children.
The bombings have targeted an area declared “humanitarian” by the Israeli authorities themselves, although they reserve the right to launch attacks if they understand that there is a presence of Hamas members in said areas.
On the other hand, a bombing has left at least ten Palestinians dead in Gaza City, located in the northern part of the Strip, according to local sources consulted by the WAFA agency.
The Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by Hamas, has recorded more than 44,500 deaths and some 105,500 injuries since the start of the Israeli military offensive more than a year ago.
