Corsair has submitted a flexible gaming monitor manufacturing with a 45-inch OLED panel that allows you to modify the curvature of the screen to go from a flat format to a curved one.
The flexible monitor, named XENEON FLEX 45WQHD240, uses an OLED panel manufactured by LG Display of 45 inches diagonally, with a 21:9 formatwhich reaches a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels.
This screen has a anti-reflective finishand offers a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, with a contrast ratio of 1,350,000:1, to reproduce images with realism and detail. It also has a response speed of 0.03ms and a refresh rate of 240Hz. It also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium.
The characteristic of this monitor is its ability to bend just enough to go from a completely flat screen to a curved onea design that the company has accompanied by a system to prevent burns on switching on and off, as collected in a statement.
“XENEON OLED FLEX is the beginning of a new kind of gaming monitorwith the performance and literal flexibility to exceed the needs of even the most demanding gamers,” said Dennis Jackson, Senior Director of Management and Marketing for Systems and Corsair Products.
The company, which has presented this monitor within the framework of the gamescom fairwhich is being held this week in Cologne (Germany), has announced that it will give more details about its arrival on the market at the end of the year.
