Banamex branches operate with moderate influx

“I have been a bank customer for about 15 years, right now I don’t have in mind changing banks,” he told Expansion Carlos García, a client who went to Santa Fe to carry out his operations.

Laura Zúñiga, a bank client, entered her mobile application to make payments for services and noticed that there was a legend with changes in the name of her bank.

“Now we provide you with our services under the name Banamex,” he read on his device.

On the streets of the Historic Center of Mexico City, customers came to carry out procedures such as card replacement, payments at the window or in the practices. The lines moved forward and no delays were noted inside the branches.

The history of more than a century of the bank seems to have been enough for its clients to trust it despite the fact that there is uncertainty regarding its new owners.

Israel Hernández, a client who went to a branch in Santa Fe this Monday, said that he did know that the bank is facing a separation process but adds that the attention he receives is so good that he does not plan to change banks.

“Yes, I am aware of the separation. I have been working with Banamex for years. I have never had any problems, they are reliable and they always solve my problems,” he assured.
