The price of the dollar in Colombia registered strong upward pressure at the start of the week and gained more than 40 pesos this Monday, at the restart of operations, after several days of calm due to the Thanksgiving holiday, between Thursday and on Friday, which forced quotes to be made under the figure of Netx Day.

According to the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC), The US currency rose 44 pesos this Monday, trading at an average price of $4,463. The TRM for the day was $4,419.
This way, The exchange rate rose around 0.34% on the day.

For its part, in other markets, the euro depreciated 0.62% against the dollar, trading at $1.05 and the pound sterling lost 0.51% against the dollar, trading at $1.27 per pound.
In parallel, The Brent and WTI references rise 1.27% and 1.31%, standing at 72.75 dollars per barrel and 68.93 dollars per barrel, respectively.

Regarding the fixed income market, the 10-year US Treasury bonds depreciate by 2 basis points (bps) and stand at 4.21%.
