“The horrific testimonies of residents and doctors in the northern Gaza Strip following the raids and massacres carried out against innocent civilians, and the confirmation of cases of attacks with weapons and ammunition leading to the vaporization of corpses, clearly indicate that The terrorist occupation army used internationally prohibited weapons,” Hamas denounced in a statement.

Thus, the Palestinian militia has urged the international community, including the United Nations, to promote an investigative committee that can access the northern Gaza Strip to “reveal the nature of the munitions used by the fascist occupation that caused these injuries and unknown cases”.

Hamas has been convinced that the Israeli Army has committed widespread violations of International Law against civilians in the north of the Strip, where more than 50 days ago the IDF began a “brutal campaign of genocide.” According to the militia, in this area of ​​the enclave alone, Israeli attacks have left almost 3,000 dead and 10,000 injured.

Health authorities in the Gaza Strip, controlled by Hamas, reported on Friday that at least 75 people had died in an Israeli attack on Beit Lahia, in the far north of the enclave. Already then they warned of the use of suspicious weapons by the Israeli Armed Forces.

Hamas launched an unprecedented offensive against Israeli territory on October 7, leaving almost 1,200 dead and taking another 240 people hostage. The IDF responded the next day with a military operation in the Gaza Strip that has already claimed nearly 44,400 people, including the Islamist group’s top leaders.
