With the aim of expanding its mobility solutions, Toyota Argentina launched Connected Services, the new onboard technology and assistance solution that takes people’s experience to a new level in terms of connectivity and safety. Hilux and SW4 customers will be able to access key information about the status and use of the vehicle from the Toyota application, and receive 24-hour service. and track your unit, among other functions. Connected Services represent another step in the company’s digitalization process and strengthen the support and reliability that characterizes Toyota.
The service will be available from the SR version of Hilux and across the entire SW4 range. From the Toyota application, available on Google Play and Apple Store, customers can access two service packages: Always Connected and Connected Safety.
The Always Connected package allows users to access information about their car, including overall condition, trip history, maintenance reminders and fault diagnostics, for free. This package guarantees customers a complete and detailed view of the vehicle’s condition to facilitate maintenance and care.
A new Hilux for the 2024 DAKAR and W2RC season
For its part, the Connected Safety package is designed to maximize safety and control of the car. This integrates seven new services (in addition to the five available in the Always Connected package) such as tracking and immobilization in case of theft, speed alerts, alarm notification, improved monitoring and geographic delimitation. All users will have 12 months of free access to the Connected Security package. After this period, the service will have an associated cost of $8,000 per month (current price November 2024).

As additional and optional services, it also offers Wi-Fi Hotspot: a data package that allows you to connect up to eight mobile devices. In addition, Toyota Compañía Financiera developed Seguro Conectado in association with La Caja. This is a technological integration that uses vehicle data and driving style to offer a potential discount of up to 15% on the insurance value, among other benefits. On the other hand, by contracting the Connected Insurance coverage you can access the functions of the Connected Security package at no additional cost.
