MADRID 25 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Two young Palestinians, aged 13 and 20, died this Sunday night in Yabad, southwest of the West Bank city of Jenin (north), after being shot by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during a series of clashes, WAFA has reported.

Medical sources have confirmed to the Palestinian news agency that Israeli Army soldiers fired “live ammunition at close range” at the two young men, wounding them with “several bullets” especially in the upper part of the body, causing their death.

According to what they have said, the Israeli military prevented ambulances from accessing the scene of the tragedy, “until they were sure of his martyrdom.” Once they arrived at the scene, the bodies of the young people were taken to the Yabad emergency center.

Israeli Army operations and attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have left more than 790 Palestinians dead since these types of actions have increased since October 7, 2023, when Hamas and other Palestinian factions launched a assault that left nearly 1,200 dead and about 250 hostages. Palestinian authorities in the Gaza Strip have since counted more than 44,200 deaths from the subsequent Israeli offensive.
