The event aims to present and analyze the importance of resolution A/RES/76/300 adopted on July 28 by the United Nations General Assembly on “The human right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment ”, presented by Costa Rica, Slovenia, Maldives, Morocco and Switzerland, with the support of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. This text recognizes, for the first time at a global level, a clean, healthy and sustainable environment as a Human Right. The event will address how this decision of the General Assembly can help catalyze the adoption and effective implementation of more solid and homogeneous global environmental standards and, above all, action in favor of our planet.
