She shared the news in person with his co-hosts, including Melvin and Bush Hager.

Like a massive, joyful YES, you are! I saw it all very clearly: my television career has been more than significant, a new decade of my life awaits me, and now my daughters and my mother need and deserve a larger portion of my time.”

“I will miss you all desperately, but I am ready and excited,” she added.

In an interview with MY! News Last month, Kotb spoke about who would like to replace her on “Today”.

The person I want is someone who has beautiful chemistry with Jenna. [Bush Hager]”he shared. “That’s all I want. Because it’s never about either anchor, it’s about what’s in the middle. So bring the chemistry.”
