AV Villas, CarroYa and Mastercard launch cards for drivers

Banco AV Villas*, in alliance with CarroYa and Mastercard, launched the CarroYa credit card, given that Fuels represent an average of 2.9% of expenses from the family basket.
This initiative seeks to provide relief to Colombian drivers by offering them benefits and discounts throughout the mobility ecosystem.

“This means of payment is designed for all owners of gasoline vehicles in the country who use or depend on their cars for their daily lives, becoming a solution to take care of their pocket by reducing costs in maintenance and use expenses such as parking, changing oil, road trips, vehicle washing, among others”, explained Gerardo Hernández Correa, president of Banco AV Villas.

With this card, Users will be able to access different benefits in the mobility ecosystem, without restrictions on time, date or service station.

Likewise, during the launch they explained that it is a means of payment that will not generate a handling fee in the first 12 months and users will have the possibility of making payments and recharges with FacilPass, obtaining additional discounts on services related to the care and maintenance of their vehicles and accessing the benefits of Aval Experiences.

“Thinking about bringing benefits associated with mobility in a simple, broad, unrestricted way that genuinely means significant savings for Colombians interested in mobility issues, we present this new payment method that will allow cardholders savings via cashback (money back) on gasoline consumption, insurance, tolls, parking, maintenance, among others”said Catalina Prieto, CEO of CarroYa.

This financial product is backed by the Mastercard franchisetechnology company in the payments industry. Federico Martínez, Mastercard Cluster Lead for Colombia, said that “We know that people need payment options and solutions that allow them to make smart purchases that are aligned with their finances. These types of alliances are becoming increasingly relevant to strengthen ties with our consumers and develop personalized products that respond to their needs specific”.

Among the additional benefits, The card will provide a 50% discount on the purchase of the TAG FacilPass and in the publication packages for vehicle sales on CarroYa, providing a more complete experience for those who want to optimize their mobility.

The new card will offer 10% cashback on purchases of Automás services (expertise) and OilFilters (oil change). Additionally, users will enjoy 1% cashback on all their national and international purchases, providing more value and savings in each transaction.
