HBO denies that the third season of ‘Euphoria’ is canceled

HBO has spoken about the future of “Euphoria.”

Over the weekend, there were reports that the teen drama series starring Zendaya was canceled after two seasons.

However, HBO put an end to those rumors in a statement to the independent.

“Euphoria will go into production in 2025,” a network representative said.

“Nothing has changed,” they added.

The Post has contacted HBO for comment.

“Euphoria” has been on a long hiatus since its second season finished airing in February 2022. The series originally debuted in 2019.

The show faced initial delays due to the 2023 strikes by the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists in Hollywood.

There were also scheduling conflicts between the star-studded cast which, in addition to Zendaya, includes Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Eric Dane, Storm Reid and Colman Domingo.

HBO CEO Casey Bloys previously said there had been “a lot of back and forth” with creator Sam Levinson and the idea of ​​a five-year time jump for the characters.
