Lebanese authorities confirm a provisional toll of three dead and 30 injured

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that this Friday they carried out an air attack against the headquarters of the Lebanese Shiite party-militia Hezbollah in the town of Tyre, located in the southwest of Lebanon and declared a World Heritage Site. Humanity by UNESCO in 1984.
“The terrorist organization Hezbollah systematically takes over civil spaces throughout the state of Lebanon and exploits civil infrastructure for terrorist purposes, while integrating its commanders into civilian spaces,” the IDF denounced on its official social media profile.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health has reported that at least three people have died and another 30 have been injured in this attack in Tyre.
On the other hand, the IDF has reported that throughout the day they have killed “dozens of terrorists in southern Lebanon”, as well as “ammunition warehouses and numerous military buildings” also near the border with Israeli territory.
“These attacks are another part of the IDF’s efforts to damage the military activities of the terrorist organization Hezbollah and make it difficult for the organization to reestablish its military capabilities,” Israeli military authorities have stressed.
Lebanon’s health authorities reported this Friday that more than 3,100 people have died and another almost 13,900 have been injured as victims of attacks carried out by the Israeli Army over the last year.
The Israeli Army unleashed a new invasion of Lebanon on October 1 after several weeks of intense bombings and attacks against the country, including the coordinated explosion of thousands of communication devices, after more than eleven months of fighting with Hezbollah in the border area. .
The resurgence in hostilities is part of the clashes that began more than a year ago, after Hezbollah attacked Israeli territory a day after the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, which led Israel to unleash a bloody offensive against the Gaza Strip, where more than 43,500 people have already died.
