MADRID 8 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Around 30 Palestinians have died due to an attack carried out by the Israeli Army against a building in the Jabalia refugee camp, located in the north of the Gaza Strip, within the framework of the offensive unleashed against the enclave after the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions.
According to information collected by the Palestinian news agency WAFA, at least 27 people have died in the attack, which has hit a house located near the Abu Hussein school in Jabalia, although it has added that there are several missing in the rubble.
In this sense, the Palestinian newspaper ‘Filastin’, linked to Hamas, has raised the number of deaths in the bombing to 30, without the Israeli Army having commented for now on this attack, launched after more than a month of intense ground offensive in the north of the Strip.
Israel’s offensive against Gaza was launched after the aforementioned attacks on October 7, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities. Since then, more than 43,400 Palestinians have died, as indicated by the Gazan authorities, in addition to more than 750 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli security forces and in attacks carried out by settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since that date. .
