MADRID 8 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has called on the international community to demonstrate over the next three days in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to denounce the West’s support for the Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, which in the last year have left more than 43,000 dead.
“We address our call to the masses of our Palestinian people, of the Arab and Islamic nations, and to the free peoples of the world, to come out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in all squares in actions in support of our people, to condemn the war of extermination, pressure to stop the aggression, and denounce American and Western support for the horrific massacres that our people face in the Strip,” reads a statement collected by the newspaper ‘Filastín’, linked to the group.
The Israeli Army began a bloody offensive against the Gaza Strip following the attacks by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7, 2023, which left 1,200 dead and 250 hostages. Since then, more than 43,400 Palestinians have died in the enclave, plus more than 750 in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in actions by Israeli security forces and settlers.
