The Democratic candidate and her running mate, Tim Walz, obtained 1,748,140 votes, while the president-elect, Donald Trump, and JD Vance reached 786,294 votes, equivalent to 30.45%, according to figures reported as of this Wednesday .

President Joe Biden also won the popular vote in the city in the 2020 election.
