Nov. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The toll of victims from the operations of the Israeli Army throughout this Tuesday in the West Bank has increased to eight, after a new attack against the town of Qabatiya, located south of Jenin, has resulted in the death of a young man Palestinian.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has confirmed to the WAFA news agency the death of a 22-year-old Palestinian who, after being killed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), has been transferred to a hospital in the aforementioned municipality. Local sources have identified the young man as Abdullah Khaled Abu Zeid.
With his death there are four young people killed at the hands of Israeli forces on the same day in Qabatiya, as announced by the Ministry of Health linked to the Palestinian Authority.
They are joined by two other deaths in a bombing carried out this morning against Muzalaz al Shuhada, also located on the outskirts of Jenin, while the authorities have previously reported the death of two Palestinians in Tamun, including one whose body has been “retained ” by Israeli security forces.
Israeli Army operations and attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have left more than 750 Palestinians dead since these types of actions have increased since October 7, 2023, when Hamas and other Palestinian factions launched a assault that left nearly 1,200 dead and about 250 hostages. Palestinian authorities in the Gaza Strip have since counted more than 43,300 deaths from the subsequent Israeli offensive.
