“Several Air Force fighter planes have recently attacked, under the precise direction of Intelligence (…) terrorists from Hamas and Islamic Jihad who were carrying out terrorist activities in the humanitarian zone of Khan Younis. Before the attack, we have taken many measures to reduce the possibility of harm to civilians,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement published on its website.

However, local sources consulted by the Palestinian news agency WAFA have indicated that the attack took place against tents in which displaced people were located and that there were deaths and injuries, without giving an estimate of the number of deaths. victims.
