One of the most successful launches in recent weeks has undoubtedly been MultiVersus, a proposal similar to that seen in sagas like Super Smash Bros. that continues to give people something to talk about. On this occasion, those responsible at Warner Bros. Games have just announced that it has already exceeded 20 million players since its open beta began.

The game did not come to the Nintendo Switch

As you will surely remember, this title came to consoles and PCs since July 26, becoming the best seller of that month despite the fact that it is a free-to-play, showing that it is conquering the community.

Now, its developers confirmed that, less than a month after its release in open beta, MultiVersus It has already reached 20 million users, who can enjoy unique battles between various characters such as Bugs Bunny, Batman and Arya Stark, among others.

Here you can see its trailer:

Season 1 is now available

One of the factors that has helped the game get a large number of players is that its season 1 began on August 15, all this to include a battle pass for players to obtain rewards, and that it will also receive the Arcade Classic and Ranked modes.

In addition to this, the game will welcome a new character, being Morty Smith (rick and morty) the one chosen to arrive this August 23, but not without forgetting other confirmed ones such as Black Adam (DC), Stripe (gremlins) and Rick Sanchez (rick and morty) still with release date to be confirmed.

MultiVersus is available for free and still as an open beta on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
