JD.com recently reached an agreement with Samsung Electronics China to drive a better smart life for consumers in the fields of IoT, services, and AI, among others.
The two parties plan to release the Samsung version of “JD Little Home,” an intelligent hardware management platform for controlling smart home devices, which will be pre-installed in Samsung’s upcoming mobile phone.
Samsung owns advanced technologies in the fields of 5G network, AI and IoT ecosystem, helping to bring more mature solutions to create a comfortable, safe, smart and healthy lifestyle for consumers, as well as driving rapid development of an open and complete IoT ecosystem.

“JD Little Home” app is a one-stop lifecycle management app to merge each brand’s small ecosystem into a larger one so that consumers can control multiple products from different brands in one app.
Also, apart from the purchase and maintenance options, you can activate automatic reminders such as replacement of electric toothbrush heads and filters of water and air purifiers.
Earlier this year, JD.com teamed up with Samsung to outline the 2022 collaboration around products, marketing, user engagement, omnichannel retail, and services.
In addition, both sides expressed their aim to promote the market influence and sales of Samsung’s smartphones in the Chinese market.
