MADRID 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israeli Army killed three journalists this Friday in a bombardment against the building where they were staying in the city of Hasbaya, in southeastern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese news agency NNA.
The attack took place without evacuation orders being announced in the area by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The day before, the Beirut headquarters of the Al Mayadeen television network, linked to the Lebanese Shiite militia party Hezbollah, was bombed.
The IDF recently identified several journalists from the pan-Arab news network Al Jazeera as suspected “terrorists” of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Islamic Jihad. Israeli soldiers have even entered the network’s offices in the Palestinian territories and seized journalistic material.
