The Finnish prime minister gives a negative drug test after her controversial video dancing

The drug test carried out last Friday by the Prime Minister of Finland, sanna marinconfirms that the president did not consume drugs during a private party with some friends, the Finnish Government Office reported on Monday.

In a brief statement, the Executive pointed out that “no drug has been found in the test to which Prime Minister Sanna Marin submitted on August 19, 2022” and said that the Marin paid for the test out of his pocketwhich was performed in a private clinic.

The prime minister voluntarily submitted to the drug test “to clean her reputation” and quell the malicious rumors that emerged on social networks, after a video was leaked where Marin sings and dances at a private party.

Despite the fact that the Social Democratic president denied at all times that she had used drugs at that party and had seen someone use them, some opposition politicians and even several media outlets demanded that she take a drug test.

“Never in my life, not even in my youth, have I used drugs. I wish we lived in a society where my word could be trusted. But since now they want to raise those suspicions, that’s why I took the test,” he said last Friday.
