This Wednesday, October 23, Ecopetrol’s stock adjusted its third consecutive drop of the week, registering a new loss that places it at an average price of $1,721.

At the closing of the local market, The oil company’s title fell 0.86%. During the day, the maximum price reached by the stock was $1,735, while the minimum was $1,710.

For its part, on Wall Street, The Ecopetrol title was quoted this Wednesday at a price of 8.01 dollars, which represents a drop of 1.60% or 0.13 dollars.
Since mid-September, the company’s stock has registered a predominantly negative behavior motivated by the downgrade of its rating by JP Morgan.

The rating agency explained that its decision was based on the growing insecurity in the national territory, the inability to adjust fuel prices and the conflict of interest that exists between the company’s management and shareholders, among other factors.
