Master lyricist and satirical storyteller John Hiatt will be on stage at the Lobero Theater at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, November 12.

Hiatt delivers songs filled with stories of redemption, relationships, and surrender on his own terms.

His show Lobero is presented by EARL MINNIS PRESENTS and Lobero Theater Foundation.

Hiatt’s music, included on some 20 studio albums, earned him a place in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, a BMI Troubadour Award and a lifetime achievement designation as a composer from the American Music Association.

Hiatt’s extensive work explores folk, rock, pop, R&B, country and blues with equal verve. His songs have been recorded by everyone from Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris and BB King to Willie Nelson and Bonnie Raitt.

Hiatt’s best album is 1987’s “Bring the Family”; Other catalog highlights include the pop and rock of 1983’s “Riding with the King”; the rugged blues-rock of 2008’s “Same Old Man”; and 2021’s “Leftover Feelings,” a collaboration with dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas.
