( Spanish) – The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, said this Monday in her morning press conference that the judges “have every right” to do the same exercise of calling the media on a daily basis.
The president thus responded to what the workers of the Judiciary consider an “exercise of the right of reply” for the section that Sheinbaum dedicates, once a week in her morning press conference, to exhibit what she considers bad practices in the judicial sector.
The judges also announced that in these conferences they will announce the actions that have been taken against the judicial reform approved and published during the last days of the six-year term of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
