Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) and the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team announced an agreement to establish a technical collaboration focused on the development of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team vehicles. This agreement seeks to promote the automotive industry, creating a favorable environment for Japanese drivers, engineers and mechanics to gain experience and develop in the FIA Formula One World Championship (F1), the highest category of motorsports.

TGR competes in motorsports with the goal of perfecting the three essential elements of automobile manufacturing: people, channel and product. In driver-first automobile manufacturing, promoted by the Chairman of Toyota Motor Corporation, Akio Toyoda, also known as “Morizo”, vehicles fail and are repaired repeatedly in the field of sports competitions and the opinions of professional drivers are incorporated into the development of street vehicles.

Through this alliance, Toyota GAZOO Racing seeks to further strengthen its teams and learn from MoneyGram Haas F1 data, which is one of its strengths in F1, to continue working on manufacturing better vehicles with the experience gained in motorsport.
