The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, expressed his condolences this Saturday for the death, this week, of the leader of the Islamist Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, Yahya Sinwar, in an Israeli attack.
Khamenei has described Sinwar’s death as a “painful” incident for the Palestinian movement but assures that he will remain “alive” thanks to the memory of the deceased, a “brilliant image of the Palestinian Resistance”, as reflected in his last moments captured on camera Israeli, defending himself from the drone that captured his agony.
