Nothing can come between this Family (modern).
Julie Bowen recently revealed the possibility of Dunphy Pritchett’s beloved team reuniting for a Reunion of the “modern family”.
“Yes,” Bowen exclusively told celebrity.land when asked if she would be willing to do it. “Of course I would be willing to do it. I can’t imagine any of us weren’t. “We are stupid for each other.”
Regarding the possibility of this in fact reaching a good port?
“I have no idea,” Bowen admitted. “You know, that depends on [Steven] Levitate and [Christophoer] Lloyd at the end.”
These days, the “Totally Killer” star is busy playing a very different kind of mother than Claire Dunphy in her upcoming film. Peacock Thriller, “Hysteria!”
Bowen plays Linda Campbell, a mother and small-town beauty salon owner during the famous “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s.
“It wasn’t fear that attracted me. [to the script] not at all because, like I said, I scare easily. “It was the idea of playing a mother who is not at all what she appears to be,” she shared. “I love Claire Dunphy and I got to play her for 11 years. But with Claire, what you see is what you get. And that’s what’s lovely about her. Linda is a dark creature. It seems like it’s one thing, but at the end of this season, boy, you’re going to be surprised.”
Bowen added: “So it was a fun and exciting acting challenge to subvert my expectations as an actress and, you know, ask those questions about what it means to be in a bubble where you start to believe crazy things. ?”
As for a behind-the-scenes moment from filming that stuck with the JB Skrub founder?
“So a lot of fun things happened,” Bowen recalled. “I would say one of the things that people might not expect or know is that Noland North, for those of you who are new to Nolan North and I was new to Nolan North, is a fun guy. And even after the most serious day of shooting, the most gruesome and gruesome scenes, he could make me laugh until I cried. “I am very lucky to have another winning television husband.”
But after filming such intense scenes, alongside her co-stars Nolan North and Bruce Campbell, the actress needs to step away from her character.
“There is literally box breathing,” Bowen confessed. “Like what Navy SEALs do! You inhale for three, hold for three, and exhale for six. Actually, I don’t know if it’s technically a box, it might be more of a rectangle, but it really helps you calm down after a day of going mentally crazy.”
And the “Hubie Halloween” student also has to “change” the content she consumes.
“I have to wear something light or listen to a podcast,” Bowen said. “I love history and history podcasts. At the end of the day I have to get away from Linda.”
“I listen to a lady reading stories. Stories where not much happens,” he continued. “It’s like a story about a walk on a fall day. And wow, your brain just goes into a gray area, which is fine by me.”
The eight episodes of “Hysteria!” will drop on Peacock on October 18.
